THE DREAMER

In school everyone would chuckle when they would look at that one kid looking into space. The one kid that seemed to be somewhere other than where he was at that moment. Maybe he was an astronaut or discovering some new species of plant, he was definitely a dreamer in a world that only those without blinders could understand.

The dreamer, that’s a good name for this kid, he would dream big and reach far as he would grow older. With a little nudge of genius that would invade his dreams this kid would grow to be a man that could invoke change on the world.

Lying in bed looking up at the ceiling seemingly peaking through it as if he could see something that no one else could. Spending his spare time jotting down his thoughts and visions that at that moment only he could understand. Little did he know that those visions would become the reality of the millions of people around him the world over.

He was only encourage to continue to dream by a single person but for him that’s all the he needed was for just that one person to give him the hope that he could actually achieve his visions, his dreams without boundaries.

When people mocked him, turned their back on him and still while others painted him as a space cadet, this dreamer kept dreaming and all that it took to continue to inspire him to dream were the kind words of a stranger that taught him that it was ok to dream and dream big.

Where would we be without the dreamers of the world, sharing their hopes and new ideas which will continue to forge our future, yes we need those dreamers and should embrace them, encourage them to dream, create and grow.

Dreamers, we all are Dreamers but only a few dare to come to terms with their fear and desire to make the magic that all people stand up and cheer for.

Don’t mock those that dream as it is those Dreamers who achieve greatness; it is those Dreamers that create true magic in the world.

We only have a small window in this world to leave our legacy behind and wasting that away by becoming engulfed in the daily treadmill of life will breed regrets later on. Live, Love and Laugh always my friends but also Dream and Dream big, Achieve great things and live a beautiful fulfilled life.
