Randy "Macho Man" Savage

In the world of Professional Wrestling there have been countless numbers of tragedies that have occurred over the years, Today marks the day that a true legend in the world of Professional Wrestling has left us. Randy "Macho Man" Savage was part of a legendary wrestling family that was right up there with the Hart family of Calgary Alberta Canada, The Poffo family led by Angelo Poffo, famed pro wrestler and Guinness Book of World Records holder (RIP) included his sons Randy and Lanny, both of whom achieved fame.

I was driving to Massachusetts today when I heard on the news that Randy Savage had died in a car crash in Tampa, Florida, I couldn't believe it, can it be that this was true that this was real, I immediately called his brother Lanny Poffo once I got to my hotel room. I asked him is this true, in a somber voice he said yes and after losing Angelo Poffo, his father, not too long ago, his only words to me that echo in my head is "Now its just me and my mother."

What could I say to that?? , the only thing that I could say is that I'm here for you brother, anything you need just ask.

I have seen the passing of many wrestlers over the past 16 years or so but this is right up there with the passing of Owen Hart, sudden and just as shocking.

May he rest in peace as he has given so many people globally the professional wrestling entertainment that they craved and he was an idol to lots of the younger wrestlers entering the business over the years, OHHH YEAAHHH he was a legend and he made a mark on the world that will out last most of us today.

I am truly saddened by this but I have to believe that god has a plan for all of us, he is the master weaver and we all have our piece of the cloth that carries our name.

My heart and prayers go out to his family at this time, what more can I say but goodbye for now and we will meet again someday my brother.
